Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach #1

This is the first picture in a series of one of our favorite places, Cannon Beach, OR. I love the foreground of this picture, and how the bird flew into the the frame at just the right moment.

Single Windmill

On a drive from Utah to Oregon, Karie entertained herself by practicing her photography from a moving vehicle. She captured this beautiful shot of an electricity providing windmill. I love how vibrant the sky looks, also the angle from which she captured the windmill.

Winter Portrait

This picture was taken on Christmas Day, and it is one of my favorites. Karie had just opened the pink hat and scarf she is wearing and I thought she looked so beautiful I had to capture it. Personally it is my favorite portrait.

Seagull Looking for Landing

Karie and I were walking along the pier at Santa Monaca, and I noticed the Seagulls gliding over us looking for a place to land. The sun hit the gull just right, and I caught this photo.

Sunset Reflected on Timpanogos

I went outside to take out the garbage and was greeted with this. I was struck with how beautiful Mt. Timpanogos was with the sunset reflecting on the snowcapped peaks. This lighting was literally only there for about 4 minutes. I was lucky to get my camera in time.
